ProPublica and Gretel Collab

by Logos Associated · May 13, 2026

All of the publication’s typefaces and the layout of its pages have changed as well.

The result is a cleaner, more classical feel. The publication has always been centered on visual storytelling, and that core goal has been enhanced by the new, more legible typefaces.

From a ProPublica release explaining the new logo and fonts: “We think they’re bolder and cleaner, while maintaining a connection to the classicism of our name, and do a better job traveling across the many screens where you can find our work. Our previous visual identity was built for a different era, it launched before mobile phones and social media were ubiquitous, and it was due for an update.”
